Therapy for Women

Helping women build confidence, manage anxiety, heal past trauma, and improve their relationships.

Are you tired of not feeling good enough?

Maybe you are feeling like an imposter these days, or perhaps you find yourself constantly seeking reassurance and validation from others. You may be struggling to put yourself out there in vulnerable ways, or simply avoid situations and people all together. Perhaps you’re feeling like you're not enough and you are wondering how others can make it look so easy sometimes.
Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, you’re beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:
● You're not going for what you want at work● You struggle to make decisions● Fear dictates many of your behaviors● Your relationships are suffering

It may feel impossible now, but you can learn to navigate life with courage. You can develop confidence. You can embrace who you are. And I can help you get there.

One-on-One Therapy with me can help you:

Understand who you are: you have unique strengths and challenges, and meaningful change starts with self-awareness
Heal from past experiences that may have shaped beliefs about you that aren't true
Learn the tools to communicate your wants and needs more effectively to others
Develop more compassion for yourself, so you can start living from a place of confidence and worthiness

It’s time to become a more confident you.

I’ll help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to therapy comes from a place of hope : that by developing security in who you are, you can begin to thrive in your life and in your relationships.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I'm nervous about starting therapy, is that normal?

Therapy can be vulnerable and new, so it’s completely natural to be nervous. Taking the step to seek help for the challenges you are facing is a huge step and it takes courage to realize that we can’t always face our issues alone. Therapy is a space where you can be yourself and come just as you are, including feeling nervous. I’m committed to finding a way to ensure sessions are as comfortable as possible for you. After meeting together a time or two, most clients find that their nerves begin to fade.
I’m here if you want to talk about it during a free phone consultation.

  • How long will therapy take?

You might be asking about how long therapy will take because you are currently struggling and want relief fast. If this is true for you, I want you to know that on average, many clients start seeing small amounts of growth after the first few sessions. At the very least, my hope is that within a short amount of time you will feel a little more calm and hopeful that healing is possible. Since therapy is such an individualized experience, the total duration of treatment does vary from person to person. Some find that 6-12 weeks is enough to resolve immediate challenges, while others feel more supported by longer-term therapy.
We will work together to find the length of time that works best for you.

  • How do I know if a therapist is a good fit for me?

It's a great question! Over and over the research tells us that the greatest factor in determining whether therapy is successful or not comes down to the relationship between therapist and client. The consultation call and the first few sessions are a good trial period to get a sense of how it will be to work together. Notice how you feel in sessions. Do you feel understood by your therapist? Do you feel comfortable opening up to them? Usually these are good signs that it's a good fit.
I'm always open to your feedback and my ultimate goal is to get you in the best place to reach your goals.
