  • How many premarital counseling sessions do you recommend?

    Premarital counseling typically consists of 8-12 structured sessions focused on different topic areas such as communication, conflict management, finances, intimacy, etc. However, I aim tailor my premarital programs to the specific needs and goals of each individual couple. 
    We can talk further about your timeline and my recommendations in a free consultation phone call. 

  • Can we do counseling like this if we are not yet engaged?

    Absolutely! I frequently work with couples that are considering engagement or another big step in their relationship such as moving in together. I believe that relationships can benefit from support and counseling at any stage!

  • Will you work with our pastor? 

    I am happy to coordinate and work with your pastor or officiant if that would be helpful. Since all counseling sessions and the content we discuss is confidential, it will be up to you and your partner to decide what information you feel comfortable with me disclosing.

  • What is Prepare & Enrich?

    Prepare & Enrich is an assessment tool and premarital program that is an option to opt. into as part of our work together. With P&E, each partner begins by completing a detailed assessment online. From there, we will gain access to lots of great data on the areas of strength and opportunities for growth in your particular relationship. As a certified Prepare & Enrich facilitator, I am able to administer the assessment and help customize sessions based on your results.
